Your wedding rings

Wedding rings may be selected at the same time of the engagement ring, but more often they are chosen during the engagement period.

Wedding bands are designed in platinum or yellow or white gold and come in a variety of finishes. For men titanium is a more popular choice. If the bride is going to wear her engagement ring with her wedding band, two rings of the same metal work best together. Some brides choose to have their engagement ring and wedding ring soldered into one unit after the wedding.

Bands should be chosen considering the shape of the bride’s hand. If it is small, a narrow band looks better. Larger hands require wide and more elaborated rings. Keep in mind that comfort is really important so our suggestion is to avoid too wide or too heavy rings: you are supposed to wear them for the rest of your life.

One last thing: wedding bands may be plain or engraved with designs on the outside. The inside can be engraved with words, initials or simply the date of the wedding. Before finalizing the purchase, ask your vendor how many letters can be engraved on the inside of your wedding ring so that you can think of your perfect inscription for life!
